During IAA Transportation 11 participants of the export alliance Ukrainian Automotive and Mobility Cluster (UAMC) held effective negotiations with over 100 partners: investors, customers and suppliers.

UAMC member businesses participating and setting up a booth at the IAA Transportation exhibition in Hanover took place thanks to the support of Програма USAID «Конкурентоспроможна економіка України»

ськаThe flagship event of the automotive world event was held on September 17-22 in the halls of Hanover Messe. This year's exhibition consists of about 1,700 exhibitors from 41 countries and a record-breaking nearly 150 thousand participants.

The event was opened by the German Federal Minister of Transport Folker Wissing, Lower Saxony President-Minister Stefan Weil, Mayor of the City of Hanover Belit Onai and VDA President Hildegard Müller.

In her opening speech, Ms. Muller emphasized: "The automotive and commercial transport industry is a driving force of transformation – with great commitment, significant investment and impressive innovation." Over the next 4 years, 280 billion euros of investment in the industry is already planned.

Thank you Frau Muller for drawing the attention of those present to the situation in Ukraine and inviting guests to the UAMC booth. Great honor and pride for Ukraine and the cluster team - personal visit of Mrs. Muller exhibition booth UAMC on September 20. It was a unique opportunity to present the participants of the UAMC export alliance and discuss future prospects of the development of the automotive industry of Ukraine.

The traditional IAA conference was held on three stages with over 80 sessions covering the most important topics of the industry. The event for UAMC was a presentation by the Olga Trofymova cluster manager, which took place on Sept. 19 at the conference's Main Stage.

 "The exhibition helped to better understand the market, competitors and the innovative direction of automobiles. It's a push to review our current business model and adjust the export strategy. We also got prospective customers to sell our existing products - this is a number of companies interested in purchasing our products. Several offers of several thousand euros each have already been given to potential customers. We managed to hold negotiations on production placement in Ukraine with 5 manufacturers of bus air conditioners. Hopefully, the planned production of 1500 air conditioners per year with new partners will be a good basis for our team.

It was nice to see our company's products installed on the tank of Ukrainian manufacturer Everlast, and to find new Ukrainian customers on IAA - the company Trans-Service-1. I am proud that our company is the founder of the autocluster and is involved in organizing the booth and participating in such a significant automobile event" - says Yuri Kisil, Head of the Department of "Spheros-Electron" .

Indeed, the Automotive and Mobility Cluster team has done a great job both in the preparation and implementation stage of the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024 exhibition events.
