General Assembly of Cluster Members

On January 10, 2024, we held a meeting with cluster members. We reviewed the achievements of recent years and prepared for a strategic session. We are moving forward towards our cluster’s vision: “Ukraine - an attractive location for automakers, a reliable partner, a good employer, and a driver of innovative development.”

For each strategic goal set three years ago, there are significant achievements over the past year, impacting Ukraine’s automotive industry:

1. Create favorable conditions for doing business in the Ukrainian automotive industry

   • 15 online events

   • 14 offline events

   • Cluster stand at three international exhibitions (IAA Mobility - Germany, International Mobility Days - Austria, SubContractors Meetings - Poland)

   • Presentations at conferences and automotive forums

   • Organized and held Manufacturing Day Ukraine (100 participants from 8 countries)

   • Collaboration with logistics companies and associations to address logistics issues

   • Opened a branch office in Lviv

   • Established partnerships with Ukrainian stakeholders and key ecosystem participants

   • Launched social media pages on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter

   • Updated the website www.automotivecluster.org.ua

2. Promote localization of production in Ukraine

   • Established partnerships with the largest automotive industry associations - VDA, ACEA, CLEPA

   • Formed partnerships to support localization, development, and support for VW suppliers

   • Increased the number of cluster members

3. Drive the development of mobility and SMART infrastructure in Ukraine

   • Membership in EIT Urban Mobility

   • Membership in EIC Scale-up Club

   • Established partnerships with startups

4. Develop the potential and advance the Ukrainian automotive and mobility ecosystem

   • Launched the e-learning platform AutomotiveSkillsHub

   • Developed five training programs, each with five modules

   • Trained 100 participants from 38 companies

   • Created a consortium for a project to expand the platform and integrate it into the European platform

   • Formed a consortium for the eDIH project

   • Won and implemented a project supported by GIZ Ukraine in 2023
