#URC2024 was held under the slogan "United in defence. United in recovery. Stronger together". Over 3,400 participants demonstrated a decisive affection for the future of Ukraine at URC2024.
This was the first Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine, held in the EU-member country - in Berlin, Germany. The conference was opened by Olaf Scholz, Federal Chancellor of Germany; Vladimir Zelensky, President of Ukraine; Ursula von der Leyen, President European Commission . In her speech, Ursula von der Leyen announced: "Europe is our home. Ukraine is Europe, and the city of Kharkiv is Europe".
With gratitude for these words, Olga Trofymova Cluster Manager of the Ukrainian Cluster of Automotive and Mobility, began her speech, which was invited to speak at the panel discussion: «From Bravery to Resilience, from Resilience to Growth: How Ukraine’s SMEs Drive Recovery Forward».
In addition, in her speech Olga Trofimova educated 4 main principles of Ukrainian business sustainability: People, Processes, Financing and Cooperation. SMEs support projects play an important role in sustainability ( GIZ Ukraine ). Exactly cooperation and concern for each other helped to stand Ukrainian business at the beginning of a full-scale invasion and continue to support it now. . "In the last 2 years, we have done more in the field of internationalization than in the last 10 years," shares Olga Trofimova in her speech.
Information was also provided regarding the activities of the UAMC Export Alliance supported by Програма USAID «Конкурентоспроможна економіка України» Three participants participated in #URC2024 and returned with signed memorandums and potential contracts.
The main message of the leader of the export alliance UAMC was a call for the integration of Ukrainian companies into international supply chains and the European ecosystem. "We are also very interested in engaging big players with further localization among Ukrainian suppliers. To catch up with EU countries by GDP per capita, we need private investment in high value-added production. »
